This class is a crash course in getting out in the world and capturing what students see around them through a series of challenges on location. Students will learn to view their subjects in new, creative and interesting ways while also gaining a deeper understanding of advanced camera controls. Students will learn the skills and techniques used to achieve distinct types and styles of photography while also learning correct camera usage. Students will learn to take full control of their images by editing their RAW files in Adobe Lightroom to achieve the exact look and feel they want.

The first and final classes are inside the classroom (China Grove, NC). ALL OTHER CLASSES are outdoors at various locations (to be determined) in the surrounding Kannapolis, NC area.

This is a group class needing 3 students minimum per session
Times are subject to change based on enrollment
All summer fees must be paid either:
- In full on or before the first lesson
- 50% on or before the first lesson, 50% on or before the fifth lesson (7-13-26)
Student safety is always a top priority; therefore, during summer group classes, one responsible adult must volunteer to sit in the designated waiting area during lessons. Volunteers can rotate weekly, but students may not be left alone with their instructor for any amount of time, and all doors must remain locked during classes.
